The Big Rock Recording Studio

  The Big Rock Studio is located in Central Wisconsin and is noted for its pristine eco-system and environment for creativity. The artists that have worked here have expressed an appreciation of the many natural wonders surrounding the studio. It is located in a glacial moraine area and has a brook trout stream, glacial kettle, hard wood forrest and cedar swamp on its property. A truly diverse location.

  This concept of marrying technology with nature has been my goal for some time, but was accomplished in March 2003 with the completion of this studio.

  My career in music started in the mid 60's as a guitarist & bassist. I have a BA in music and a MME in composition and have been working in multi track recording for more than 35 years.

  I also spent 5 years doing live production work at the legendary

Witz End, a roadhouse (now gone) were I got to work with a bunch of talented musicians including, Saffire, Dave Hole, Commander Cody,

Jimmy Thackery, Long John Hunter, Gordon Stone, Jim Schwall,Merl

Saunders, Danny Barnes, Greg Koch and many national and regional acts.
